Cineworld York is a cinema which is part of the city’s new Community Stadium at Monks Cross. The cinema which opened its doors on the 13th December 2019 features 13 state of the art screens including VIP viewing screens, exclusive lounge, complimentary dining and luxury reclining seats.

Coming off the A64 East, the A1306 Malton Road towards York leads to the complex. The A1237 Outer ring road leading to Monks Cross also leads to the cinema. The nearest train station is the York Centre which then feeds onto the Number 9 Silver Line service. The Silver Line service 9 runs from 7:00am to 21:40 every day from the Park and Ride which is next door into the city centre.

Is parking free?

Cineworld does not own or operate any car park. There is landlord run car park outside the cinema which offers 4 hours free parking. The main park and ride is just outside the cinema and offers a £5.00 all day parking fee.
